There are four in the model lineup for the 2017 Dodge Durango; SXT, CT, Citadel, and the R/T. The Durango GT is replacing the Limited as the new model with sportier features. It has a monochromatic exterior. There is an edition package called the Anodized Platinum appearance for the Durango Citadel that has an interior that looks upgraded. It includeds leather seats with silver accent stitching, an instrument panel that is hand-wrapped with silver accents, gunmetal trim on the front and rear door speakers and on the steering wheel, and multiple platinum chrome accents all over the interior and exterior of the car. There is a new 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen with a rear-mounted camera to view trailers hooked up to the back.

The 3.6-liter V6 has great horsepower of 290 and 260 pound-feet of torque. It has an eight-speed automatic with rear-wheel drive, but has an option of all-wheel drive. It has an automatic start-stop system to save fuel. The miles-per-gallon for the rear-wheel drive is 19 city/26 highway. The average being 21 mpg. The miles-per-gallon for the all-wheel drive is 18 city/25 highway. The average being 21 mpg, again. The V6 engine can tow 6,200 pounds. The 5.7-liter V8 offers a great 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. This is standard on the R/T and is an optional for the Citadel. It also has an eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive with the option of an all-wheel-drive system. The miles-per-gallon for the V8 has 14 city/22 highway. The average being 17 mpg. This V8 can tow up to 7,400 pounds.
Design of Dodge Durango
The 2017 Durango comes in four trims; SXT, GT, Citadel and R/T. The base SXT comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, a load-leveling rear suspension, heated mirrors, keyless ignition and entry, three-zone climate control, a 60/40-split folding second-row seat, a 50/50-split folding third-row seat or no third-row seat at all, and all the basic technology. The GT model has 20-inch wheels, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, dual exhaust tips, a heated steering wheel, heated front and second-row seats, a 115-volt power outlet, driver memory settings, basic technology and an 8.4-inch touchscreen interface with voice controls. The Citadel comes with xenon headlights, automatic high beams, automatic wipers, roof-rail crossbars, a sunroof, a power liftgate, a cargo cover, a power-adjustable steering wheel, a navigation system, an eight-way power passenger seat, ventilated front seats, and a nine-speaker audio system with a subwoofer and HD radio. Finally, the R/T has a V8 engine, an upgraded steering system, a sport-tuned suspension, red accent stitching and a Beats audio system. You can add the roof rails and sunroof.
